Welcome to doIT Consulting
Practitioners who help you grow your business
We know how to help you with your key processes so you can focus on your business.
We’ve built technology organizations ourselves
Now we help others build them better
doIT was created from hands-on experience in building, scaling and leading technology organizations. We know the challenges our clients face because we’ve faced them ourselves.
Today, we bring together three perspectives: people, organization and leadership, to help technology companies build stronger teams, create organizations that scale and develop leaders who make a difference.
But doIT is more than a business. It’s a family business.
We are partners in business and in life, and parents of three. Together, we’re a family of five ambitious, curious and creative people who genuinely enjoy spending time together, especially when there’s a little adventure involved.
Sport and travel are a big part of our family life. You’ll often find us exploring new places, skiing in the mountains or riding through MTB parks. We also share a love of yoga, not only for the poses, but even more for the meditation and breathwork that come with it.
And then there’s tennis. We love it on TV, on the court, playing with our kids or practising together.
For us, building something meaningful has always been about people, at work and beyond.
Different expertise. One shared perspective
Dominika Gajek
Senior IT Recruiter
People have always been at the heart of what I do.
I graduated from Jagiellonian University in Kraków with a degree in Swedish Philology. I’ve always been fascinated by languages, cultures and, above all, people. I speak five languages fluently and I still have a particular soft spot for Sweden and Swedish.
My career started in the air, as a flight attendant, where I quickly progressed to leading a cabin crew. From there, I moved into customer care and sales management before eventually finding the field that brought everything together for me: recruitment.
I gained experience recruiting for a global banking organization and later leading a division at an established IT recruitment company. This gave me the opportunity to see recruitment from different perspectives: the candidate’s, the hiring manager’s and the business’s, and understand what really makes a successful hire.
Today, I combine that experience with something that has always come naturally to me: genuine curiosity about people. I listen, ask questions and look beyond a CV or job description to understand what both sides really need. For me, recruitment isn’t about filling vacancies. It’s about creating matches that work, and last.
Expect questions, sometimes quite a few of them. I want to understand not only who you’re looking for, but why, what success looks like in the role and how your recruitment process works.
I bring my experience, attention to detail and understanding of the recruitment market to every search. Give me the space to really understand your challenge, and I’ll work with you to find not just a candidate, but the right person for your organization.
A coach who knows your reality first-hand
Tomasz Gajek
I know the technology world from the inside.
I graduated from Jagiellonian University in Kraków with a degree in Computer Science, and I’ve spent nearly 20 years working in technology, starting as a software developer and progressing through development management to technology director, site lead and general manager of software organizations.
Along the way, I’ve written code, delivered projects, built teams and led an entire business. I’ve hired and developed great people and, together with them, built software products I’m genuinely proud of.
But I also know the other side of leadership. The pressure to deliver. The difficult conversations. The loneliness of important decisions. The constant context switching. I know it not from a textbook, but from my own career.
That experience shapes the way I work today.
I believe in agility, iteration and focusing on what creates the most value. My goal isn’t to arrive with a ready-made answer. It’s to understand the problem, challenge assumptions when needed and help you find solutions that actually work in your organization.
My career in management eventually led me to professional coaching. I am a certified Erickson Professional Coach (EPC), having completed The Art & Science of Coaching program, and I work in accordance with the ICF Code of Ethics.
This combination of coaching expertise and hands-on management experience means that, when working with leaders and experts, I don’t have to pretend I understand their world – I simply know it first-hand. As a coach, I know when to set my own experience aside and hand the space over to my clients, so they can develop their own solutions. As a consultant, I draw on my knowledge and experience to give my clients practical recommendations tailored to their organizations.
